Bohemian Serving Sets

$30.00

I created this set for people who want something more interesting than a plain white plate. It is a functional piece of art that works as a centerpiece for your table. I hand-paint the geometric patterns on the ceramic inserts in my Newcastle studio.

Each ceramic piece has a matte pink base. This gives it a modern feel that looks great against the hand-painted linework. I seal the art with a food-safe finish so you can actually use it to serve food. It is durable enough to handle regular use at your next lunch or dinner.

  • Includes 1 x bamboo serving tray.

  • Includes hand-painted ceramic serving inserts.

  • Sealed with a food-safe and heat-resistant finish.

  • Hand-painted by Vicki Maree in Newcastle, NSW.

Artist-Quality Acrylics

I exclusively use professional-grade acrylic paints known for their high pigment load and exceptional lightfastness. This ensures the vibrant teals and golden ochres remain as vivid as the day they were painted, resisting fading over time.

Food-Safe & Durable Finish

Since these pieces are meant for entertaining, I seal every hand-painted design with a premium, glass-like resin. This coating is completely food-safe and creates a heat-resistant, durable barrier. It protects the artwork from spills and wear, so you can actually use your serving sets for appetizers and platters without worrying about damaging the art.

Artisan Bamboo & Steel

I choose high-quality sustainable bamboo for the trays and stainless steel for the matching cheese tools to ensure the base of the work is as solid as the painting itself. These materials are chosen for their longevity and natural feel, making them perfect as a permanent centerpiece or a reliable set for your next gathering.
